Fast Zoom Lens
Ranging from 24 mm to 75 mm, the Leica DC Vario-Summilux 10.9–34 f/1.7–2.8 ASPH. covers all the key focal lengths for landscape and portrait photography. You can select the subject flexibly and capture any situation with spontaneity and precision. The fast lens speed starting at an aperture of f/1.7 allows you to shoot in difficult lighting conditions and deliberately compose images with focus and blur. The optional automatic lens cap ensures that your camera is always ready for action – making it an innovative and extremely practical accessory for your Leica D-Lux 8.
High Resolution and Creative Post-Processing
The powerful 4/3″ CMOS sensor with 21 MP (effectively 17 MP) offers high image quality characterised by natural colours and clear details. Expressive and authentic imagery can be composed in either the JPEG or DNG format. For digital RAW files in DNG format, you benefit from the greatest flexibility when it comes to post-processing. Record videos with the D-Lux 8 in up to 4K quality at 30 frames per second or in Full HD at 60 frames per seconds.
Show Your Subject in the Best Light
The D-Lux 8 comes with a small yet powerful clip-on flash. This allows you to improve your compositions when shooting in low light, reduce shadows in portraits and experiment with second curtain sync. This technique lets you capture creative, dynamic images with a truly distinctive look.
Leica FOTOS App
With the Leica FOTOS App, you can transfer your pictures directly to your smartphone, edit them and share them in no time. This puts you in full command of your images, and you can even control your camera remotely if required.
