By integrating electronic contacts, the lens ensures reliable communication between the lens and the camera body. It impresses with outstanding optical performance, based on a double-sided aspherical lens and atypical partial dispersion glass. Despite its high-quality optics, the lens remains extremely compact and has a pancake-style design with an overall length of just 23.5 mm from the bayonet mount.
The COLOR SKOPAR 18 mm F2.8 aspherical X-Mount offers an angle of view equivalent to 28 mm in full-frame format, establishing itself as a popular standard for wide-angle lenses.
