Equipped with electronic contacts, this adapter enables communication between your camera and lens, enabling functions such as autofocus and auto exposure, as well as image stabilization. Most important, it allows you to control the aperture from the camera body and it will also transfer Exif data to the camera. The adapter is powered by the camera body and it features aluminum construction with brass bayonet mounts for durability and ease of use.
